The Phoenix Symphony and Principal Guest Conductor JoAnn Falletta welcome harpist Yolanda Kondonassis this week. The concert includes Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the familiar Rumanian Rhapsody by Georges Enesco and a concerto Ms. Kondonassis is touring with this season – the less familiar harp concerto by the Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera. This Saturday, January 4th, 7:30PM, the Oracle Piano Society and Friends of the Tempe Center for the Arts will present the younger Paul Harvey’s “Picture Rachmaninoff” at Tempe Center for the Arts.
